Combat Mission Cold War - Battle Pack expands the Cold War battlefield with 16 new standalone scenarios and two full campaigns, delivering new tactical challenges centered on British and Canadian forces.
Experience modern warfare at a time when the balance of power was anything but certain. NATO has yet to achieve the overwhelming technological superiority associated with later conflicts, while Soviet forces are evolving beyond the mass-based doctrines of previous decades. Neither side can rely on technology or numbers alone.
This battlefield parity puts tactical decision-making at the forefront. Coordinate infantry, armor, artillery, and supporting assets, exploit local advantages, and adapt as the situation develops. Every engagement demands careful combined-arms tactics, where even small decisions can determine the outcome.
Much of the Battle Pack builds upon the forces introduced in the BAOR module, with scenarios centered around the British Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS) in Canada, alongside new engagements exploring a hypothetical confrontation between NATO and Warsaw Pact forces.
